The Emerald Coast Redfish Club is a non-profit, family oriented fishing club based in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This club was founded by local anglers with the desire to promote "artificial only" catch and release redfishing in a fun and competitive atmosphere. The Emerald Coast Redfish Club is a club for all levels of anglers. From weekend novices to full time professionals, all will enjoy what we have in store for 2009. The Emerald Coast Redfish Club is an excellent opportunity for anglers to not only learn how to catch redfish, but to test their skills against other anglers in our club tournament series. July 25th, 2009 -The sixth venue for the 2009 tournament series will be back in Panama City, FL. Hosted by Boon Docks Restaurant. New members are welcome and can sign up at check-in. Tournament Schedule: Check-In Location & Time: County Boat Ramp at the end of Bay View Circle, Panama City Bch, FL. On the South side of the Hwy 79 Bridge. 5:00-5:30AM Once teams are checked in, they can launch from the South or North side boat ramps. Congratulations to Mike Pattison & Ken Cube who took home first place in the Pensacola tournament with their two fish weighing in at 9.5lbs. This is the team's second tournament victory of the series and put them in a tie for "Team of the Year" going into next month's tournament in Panama City. |
