Congratulations to Paul Comer and Jason Bennett who took home first
place in the Navarre tournament with two fish weighing in at 14.18lbs. This
was not only their first tournament with the ECRC tournament series, but
also their first time fishing inshore on the Emerald Coast. First place paid out
two Shimano Symmetry reels provide by our tournament sponsor Half Hitch
Tackle and a $100 free service provide by The Ships Chandler. Paul and
Jason also took home the Elite series payout for largest single redfish and
largest aggregate which totaled $840.00!

Dusty Powers fished with his mom Donna Powers and brought in a solid
weight of 11.16lbs. They took home 2nd place plaques, 8' Stick-It Anchor
Pin and a pair of Guideline sunglasses from our club sponsors.

Chad Skeeles and George Johnson placed 3rd with two fish weighing
10.18lbs. They took home 3rd place plaques and a box of lures provided by
club sponsor Bite-a-Bait lures.

Alan Chase and Larry Thompson brought in a 22 ½" Speckled Trout and
won the Elite Series for the longest trout worth $200.00.

The weather cooperated for the first time all year and there were a total of
25 teams that fished the tournament. Fourteen teams brought fish back to
the weigh-in.

After the weigh-in we were served some free grub by Gator Back
Spoons and Connor Jigs. Hot Dogs & Sodas under the tent! Just what a
bunch of anglers want after a long day of fishing.

Everyone is welcome to our weigh-ins and we are still accepting new
members at every tournament.
